Architecture & A Movie ($): Surround yourself in splendor with a step back in time at the historic Million Dollar Theatre, Downtown.  Enjoy The Los Angeles Conservancy’s fifth annual holiday film matinée (Dec. 5th) with a screening of the nostalgic musical favorite Scrooge (1970), starring Albert Finney (Golden Globe winner for his portrayal of Scrooge) and Sir Alec Guinness.

Fitness Sensation ($): Have you heard about Zumba?  Latin inspired dance moves makes fitness class the hottest club in town.  It’s only been around a few years and is fast becoming a huge craze.  Sierra Fitness, Sierra Madre is heating things up this month with their new Zumba classes.  Easy way to get the jump on your New Year’s resolution.

Food (FREE – $): The holidays are hopping at The Grove, LA.  Nov. 21st marks the lighting of their Christmas Tree (fireworks, music, Santa – it’s all there).  Stop in after at the scrumdelicious, recently opened Wonderland Bakery (Newport Beach import), located across from Barneys Co-Op.  Where’s that? Let your sweet tooth lead the way.
